News > An NES Cell Phone

June 14, 2007

It's been done before - we have already seen cell phones that can run NES ROMs- but this time, the phone is designed to do so.

The Gionee S20 is a slider from China that includes an NES emulator, and even has "A" and "B" buttons right on its face.  In addition to the emulator, the phone features a 2 megapixel camera and a TV-out connector to play those ROMs on a full-size television.  Pricing details are unavailable as of yet, but hopefully it won't be too ridiculous.

My only question now is, does it work with Sprint?
