News > BlizzCon Attendees to Receive StarCraft II Beta Key

June 5, 2007

Blizzard will be holding its annual BlizzCon event on August 3rd and 4th this year at the Anaheim Convention Center.  Tickets for the event will cost you a mere $100.

With prices so high, there has to be something to entice gamers to attend - and there is.  According to Blizzard's website:

"All BlizzCon attendees will receive their share of free Blizzard swag, to be announced in a future update. We'll also be providing a beta key for an upcoming Blizzard game."

Now what games are scheduled to be released by Blizzard in the near-ish future.  Hmm....Oh!  Starcraft II

I guess that $100 bucks is looking like less of a loss now, huh?
