News > European PS3 Price Cut Coming?

July 10, 2007

Now that a price cut for the PS3 is in effect in the U.S., attention has shifted to European shores.  Sony has made it known that they have a "major announcement" planned for Thursday at the E3 Media and Business Summit in Santa Monica, California.

Details about just what the announcement will be were scant except for the fact that it will relate to the recent price cut and new model introduction in the U.S.  It is very possible that the company will be making a similar change to the PS3 pricing structure in Europe, but until Thursday, it is all just speculation.
