Have there been enough Final Fantasy ports/remakes for you?  If there have, too bad, because Square-Enix will be doing this until the end of time.

It appears that Matrix Software, the developers behind the FFIII 3D remake, may be working on a similar transmutation of FFIV (Final Fantasy 2 in the US).  The game has already seen a GBA port, but that doesn't really mean anything.

So will we see this 3D rendition of one of the favorite RPGs ever?  All will be revealed in a matter of a few days, at the Square-Enix Party.
