According to posts in this thread at Xbox.com, some Limited Edition Halo 3 360s are the much-discussed Falcon model, sporting a 65-nm processor as opposed to the 90-nm processor of older models. This thread goes on to discuss which lot numbers got the new hardware, and how to tell which version you have.
The 65-nm processors are supposedly more reliable than the 90-nm versions, and should (fingers crossed) drastically decrease the chances that your 360 will overheat and suffer the Red Rings of Death.
