On Introversion’s blog, they announced their “fourth game is going to be called Subversion.” The new PC game idea started out in 2003, was then put on hold repeatedly during development of Darwinia and then Defcon, now their upcoming project has started development again, pre-production to be exact. To quote Introversion staff member Chris: “It has changed and grown and solidified and matured into something quite beautiful, and we’re finally in a position to be able to do it justice. It’s going to take us a couple of years, but as a company we’re getting bored of keeping everything secret for so long, and the decision has been made to open the process up to the world. Our next game will be developed in the full glare of the general gaming public, and we hope you enjoy the process as much as we do.”
