Sony plays a dangerous game. When the original Killzone 2 trailer hit, way back in 2005, gamers basically flipped their damn wigs. We demanded more. We didn't get anything. Today? We get something. A single picture...
Is this serious? The trailer showed a freaking squad of bad-ass warriors landing on a hostile planet and battling glowy-eyed half-aliens in nazi helmets and overcoats while missiles streaked overhead and floating platforms plummeted from the sky. Two years later, this is all they have to show us?! This picture is probably completely doctored anyway, considering how the lighting on the enemy makes no sense. Where is the ambient light on his head coming from, for instance, and why is his hand glowing? Besides, the shadow behind him doesn't look so hot. The Killzone series has never actually delivered a real breakout amazing game. Was it a mistake to let the trailer get our hopes up?
