Details remain scant, but Hideo Kojima recently announced that the online component from MGS3: Subsistence would be making an appearance on the PS3.
According to reports originating on Famitsu.com, it's the online component that was featured in Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. So it'll have sneak, capture and rescue multiplayer missions along with Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, presumably.
This is the same online component for which Konami recently shut down their servers, so it remains to be seen whether or not the PS3 version will perform better.
