News > More Microsoft Hardware Issues

July 16, 2007

With the recent revelation that up to 30% of Xbox 360's might be falling prey to the dreaded Red Ring of Death, news of yet another hardware issue with the console is not what Microsoft wants. Unfortunately for them, their latest problem has not gone unnoticed by the unblinking eye that is internet video games journalism, although it took two weeks for the news to escape:

EB Games Australia has issued a recall of their Xbox 360 premium consoles, with store managers ordered to return their entire inventories.

The rumored cause was hard drive failures this time around. Luckily, they're being moved out of stores before gamers can purchase them.
