Doesn’t it seem like every time, just before a new console gets launched, there’s wayyyy more bad news than good? Odd innit? To contribute to this upsetting trend of constant negativity, it looks like the Playstation 3 modes that were on display at the recently ended TGS had to be reset a lot and just had a lot of problems in general. This caught Macquarie Equities analyst David Gibson’s eye in and caused him to cast some doubt on the PS3:
”While the reason for this is unknown, we suspect it may be due to overheating as a result of enclosing the units and the high temperatures at the venue,” Gibson wrote in the report Monday. “We are concerned that such a problem has occurred so close to full production and is clearly negative news for the company.”
