News > PS3 160GB Hard Drive

July 19, 2007

Now that Sony Computer Entertainment America has come to market with an 80GB PS3 model, we've already heard Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's David Reeves say that it still isn't enough.  According to him, 120GB would've been better, because there isn't really any difference between 60GB and 80GB.

Well, peripheral manufacturer Hori has taken those words to heart and is selling a 160GB external hard drive, designed specifically for the PS3.  The drive will connect via USB, and won't need any additional power source.  The drive will be available on August 2nd, and will cost ¥29,190 (US $240).

I bought my PC's 160GB internal hard drive for 60 bucks...
