There are very few who will attempt to deny the greatness of Resident Evil 4. That is why any new information about this stellar title is likely to get gamers excited. Already released for Gamecube, PS2, and PC, there now seems to be evidence of an upcoming Wii version of the game.
Various sites are reporting that both Gamestop.com and Sofmap.com have had listings for the game online, but have since removed them. More concrete evidence can be found at GoNintendo.com, where they have a snapshot of the Blockbuster Video computer system displaying an entry for "Wii - Resident Evil 4." This entry is separate from their Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles listing.
GamerNode was unable to confirm a separate SKU for the alleged RE4 port at either GameStop or EB Games, but remains optimistic considering the franchise's history of remakes. Guess we will just have to wait until Capcom's Gamer's Day event on April 12th to get any "real" info.
