The new game in the series will feature an upgraded engine to take advantage of DirectX 10 and various other gameplay tweaks designed to allow the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game to come a little bit closer to living up to the promise of the original.
The game itself will be taking place a year before the events of the previous title, and will allow players to explore a few new areas. Expect S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky for PC in the first quarter of 2008.
