Everyone's favorite plumber will be venturing into outer space on November 12th, 2007. Reggie-Fils Amie made the announcement at Nintendo's pre-E3 press conference today, where he described the game as "the first worthy successor to Super Mario 64" and "a new gold standard for player interface...for any game."
The announcement came during a fairly meaty video of the game, which displayed some new content along with what we've come to expect from the upcoming title.
