According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection will be getting online versus play in the near future.
The game itself is a downloadable version of the arcade game, and PS3 users can grab it at any time. When the update hits, the game will cost 2800 Yen ($23) for all the features of the core game and the update, or 1000 Yen ($8) for those who have already made the initial download.
The online versus mode will feature worldwide matchmaking and a leaderboard to keep track of player rankings. In addition, practice and survival modes will be added to the game.
At this time, no release date has been given.
