News > The First PS3 Episodic Game

June 17, 2007

Following the confirmation that the episodic content in GTA IV would be exclusive to the Xbox 360, the PS3's first foray in to the episodic realm has been revealed.

Nine-to-Five will be an "episodic sitcom," comprised of four three-hour episodes.  The game will feature cartoon-style animation whose plot revolves around getting ahead in the workplace.  The main character works at fictional MegaCorp, and must interact with his 25 officemates in not-so-honest ways to achieve his goals.

The game promises to be full of mini-games, and will feature humorous dialog penned by the same writers who bring you SNL, The Daily Show, Chappelle's Show, and Conan O'Brien.

Pricing is reported to be $5 per episode, or $14 for the whole lot, all downloadable via the Playstation Network.
