News > Ubisoft Expanding Its Casablanca Studio

June 17, 2007

The studio responsible for Rayman Raving Rabbids, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, and delightfully titled Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie will be the recipient of 150 new developers by the year 2010.  They will also be making a move within Morocco.

"There are many young people in Morocco who are passionate about video games," said the studio's managing director, Cyril Vermeil. "Our task will be to recruit people who want to grow with Ubisoft to become leading specialists in an industry offering an increasing number of career opportunities for local talent."

Currently, the studio is working on Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, and following such an expansion, we can expect the team to take on many more projects in the future.
