Video Games Live is set to bring their sweet harmonies to London on November 25th in what will be the UK’s first ever video game related music concert. They’ll be accompanied by the English National Ballet Symphony and the show will go down at the Hammersmith Apollo theater. To celebrate this being the first concert of it’s kind in the UK, the Video Game Live crew will be throwing a pre-show festival which any gamer should love to attend. The specifics after the jump:

To start off the pre-show festival, Ubisoft will be giving away an exclusive limited edition soundtrack sampler CD to the first 3000 people to arrive at the show. Featuring music from a diverse range of Ubisoft published games, including extracts from the award winning Myst® III Exile soundtrack (composed by Jack Wall), the groundbreaking Beyond Good & Evil (composed by Christophe Heral), Gearbox Software’s epic Brothers in Arms™ series, plus hotly anticipated Christmas releases Red Steel™ (composed by Tom Salta) and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Vegas (composed by Paul Haslinger).

Other pre-show festival activities include a Guitar Hero™ II competition as well as next generation consoles for the audience to experience and play for the first time. Also included is the always entertaining costume contest where audience members will come dressed as their favorite video game characters. Finalists will be judged on stage by the audience.

Cosplayers, Guitar Hero 2, and free cds. I can think of nothing else that would better complete a perfect evening.
