News > Wii and PS3 Don't Break. 360 Bricks.
July 5, 2007
We've all heard the claims about the Xbox 360 and its rate of failure. It is said to hover around the 30% mark...which is %#@^ing insane. One Best Buy employee claims that "between a quarter to a third" of all Xbox 360s sold from his store are returned with some sort of malfunction.
The contrary is true of the Wii and PS3, according to store managers. The two consoles combined have a failure rate of less than one percent - one EBGames manager even went on record to say that not a single Wii has come back to his store.
That's quite a difference in hardware, which is why many repair firms have now ceased support of the Xbox 360.
