Customers who have sent their consoles back to Microsoft after seeing the dreaded "red ring of death" are getting back a little more than what they sent.  In response to the all-too-high frequency of Xbox 360 overheating incidents, Microsoft is adding an additional heatsink to refurbished consoles in an effort to curb the problem.

Microsoft has made no mention of these changes, but now that the good old internet has discovered their not-so-nefarious plot, they are sure to tell us something.
